The impending auction of S Kidman and Co's majestic Ruby Plains and Sturt Creek stations in Western Australia has ignited a buzz among potential buyers.
Andrew Stewart, from Landmark Broome, WA, said there had been four private inspections of the properties that cover almost 8000 square kilometres and support 30,000 Brahman and Charbray cattle.
Soaring fuel prices have prompted Australia's third largest beef supplier to put its East Kimberly stations up for sale.
The property will be auctioned on August 20 in Darwin.
It is expected to fetch between $45 and $50 million.
