TWO items at John and Rita Cozens' clearing sale at Black Rock, near Orroroo, SA, fetched $75,000 last Thursday.
One item making the top price was a John Deere 8780 tractor and a Flexi-Coil seeder.
Mr Cozens, who has sold the farm to concentrate on his work as pastor of the Orroroo Community Church, said sale results overtook his expectations.
"We estimate between 300 and 400 people attended the sale, with 270 registered bidders," he said.
"We were extremely pleased with the result, especially to finish-up with a 100 per cent clearance."
He said some of the "antique" machinery offered drew strong bids.
A grey Ferguson TED 20 tractor from 1951 drew the attention of an interstate collector, fetching $4000.
"We also sold an old wheat pickler for $130 and an old bag lifter for $100," he said.
A New Holland TR86 header made $30,000, while a John Deere 4440 tractor with GRC loader made $35,000. A John Deere 4640 made $16,000.
