ANYONE looking for a top quality round baler at a reasonable price need look no further than this week's AgTrader Classifieds.

Strathfield Equipment, Macclesfield has just the machine and it comes with the added bonus of a low 4000-bale throughput.

Priced at just $30,000, it also represents great value money.

This Welger Farmer model 320 round baler, a fixed forming chamber machine for producing 1.5 by 1.3 metre round bales come complete with cutter knives, has a Hydroflex floor control which is activated from the tractor cabin that causes the chamber floor to drop down to help overcome material jams, if the machine becomes overloaded and is fitted with a Vario net-wrap facility.

It has a 2.5m pick-up and features electronic bale control, a power-split gearbox and an auto chain lubrication facility.

A feature of this Farmer 320 unit is its bale ramp.

This extends beyond the roll-out door to facilitate virtual continuous baling.
