Massey draws interest with 3600 tractor

13 Nov, 2008 05:00 AM
THE Reserve Bank has just cut official interest rates dramatically, but it is nothing like Agco's recent announcement.

If you buy a Massey Ferguson 3600 tractor with a front-end loader, you can secure finance with 1.9 per cent interest.

The move is certain to attract plenty of attention from farers looking for a multi-purpose tractor suitable for a range of agricultural and municipal applications.

The MF3600 series comprises three options: the 58kW 4WD MF3635, available in both ROPS and cabin models, and the 68kkW 4WD MF3645 cabin model.

All models are powered by high torque Sisu Diesel engines and with a short wheelbase, high power-to weight ratio and low centre of gravity, the tractors are particularly suitable for hay work, material handling and working on difficult terrain.

A 24x24 power shuttle transmission is standard with three ranges and four synchronised gears.

The additional mechanical splitter then effectively doubles the number of available ratios.
