IT IS a well looked-after tractor that has been used principally for crop spraying and one that has many, many hundreds hours of service left in it.
That is how Pinnaroo-based Ronco Motors dealer principal, Roydn Bailey describes the New Holland TJ 325 equal wheel drive tractor his dealership is offering this week.
"The tractor looks immaculate," he said.
"It has always been shedded and well maintained and regularly serviced by our fully qualified technicians.
"It was sold new by us, has been locally owned and we traded it when the owner decided to upgrade to a later model.
Mr Bailey said the TJ325 EWD tractor was a drawbar or scraper designated tractor fitted with 620/70R42 duals all round and had a 1000 rpm PTO.
"Power for the tractor comes from a fuel efficient CDC Cummins 242kW, 24 valve turbocharged diesel engine that boasts a 35 per cent torque rise.
"It drives through a 24 speed synchro transmission that features a dedicated wet master clutch and all helical cut gears for quieter and smoother operation with 12 speeds in the traditional working ranges,
"It has 3295 hours on the clock and is virtually just run-in.
"At our asking price of just $143,000 I believe we are offering it at a bargain basement price,"
The New Holland TJ325 is one of the modern day derivative of the famous Versatile tractor.
New Holland, now a division of CNH Global, is one of the world's leading manufacturers and distributors of agricultural and construction equipment with 18 production sites in 24 countries, as well as 13 engineering centres around the world.
The first New Holland Versatile ranges of tractors were introduced in the late 1980s.
New Holland itself was acquired by the Italian owned Fiat company in 1991 and in 1999 CNH Global was formed with the merging of interests between Fiat, New Holland and Case IH.
Today they carry the TJ model designation.
