CURTIS'S at Cummins is offering two New Holland CR 960 machines that represent savings on each machine of $200,000.
Both are 2007 build machines with low engine and rotor hours, 520 and 374/407 respectively.
"They are virtually new machines," sales consultant Keith Coventry said
"Both feature New Holland's unique twin-rotor separation and are harvest ready and at our special pricings we expect them to sell quickly.
"The combines are powered with Iveco 9 litre 253-kilowatt engines and drive through four-speed hydrostatic transmissions".
Mr Coventry said one of the combines was being offered with a 10.9-metre draper front together with a Hart Carter 10.9m tyne reel if required.
"This unit is equipped with 900/60R32 drive wheels and 600/65R28 steer wheels, which are in excellent condition.
"Both machines are fitted with New Holland's exclusive IntelliView monitoring system and have self-levelling shoes, hydraulic fan drives extended augers and are fitted with straw choppers and chaff spreaders.
"The second machine we have available is basically identical, but is fitted with a 94C 11.8m front."
Mr Coventry said the CR 960 combines came from a pedigree of twin-rotor combines that would be 35 years old next year.
"New Holland produced the first rotary combine in the world in 1975," he said
"With New Holland's twin-rotor separation coupled with the self-levelling shoe arrangement, users are assured of top performance from these high capacity machines.
"It all adds up to more clean grain in the bin with less grain losses and less grain damage."
The cab interior is recognised as 'best in class' and a very roomy workspace.
CR's monitoring system features a large colour display that is user-friendly and allows access to all information, including yield mapping, while harvesting.
"The New Holland flagship combine harvester in Australia, the CR9080 has a peak power rating of 390 kilowatts. The CR9070 and CR9080 also have the largest cleaning area of any combines sold in Australia.
Curtis's, headquartered at Tumby Bay, has been associated with New Holland for more than 60 years, albeit originally through its involvement with the Ford Motor Company.
