ARGUABLY one of the best units of its type his dealership has ever offered. This is how Staines of Esperance spokesman, Simon Staines explains the Miller Nitro 2275 HT self-propelled sprayer his company is offering this week.
"Claimed by many to be the 'Rolls Royce' of sprayers, this Nitro unit with just 2300 hours on the clock is a 2006 build unit, the 2275 HT machine was sold new and regularly serviced by us and was traded by the owner who upgraded to a 4000 series model," Mr Staines said.
"It is equipped with 5300 litre stainless steel tank, 36 metre boom with ultrasonic height and level control, three way nozzles bodies, Raven rate control, quick attach auxiliary hydraulics, granny pot, Sotera chemical transfer pump and is mounted on 520 flotation tyres.
"It is also being offered with a second set of narrow profile tyres.
"A swathing front is also available, but is not included in the $297,000 including GST asking price".
Mr Staines said the big appeal with Nitro sprayers was their superior design and solid construction.
"The up-front cabin and mid-mounted tank combined with a rear-mounted engine gives the machines a 'best in the industry' overall balance and even weight distribution.
"The centrally mounted cabin together with the front mounted booms gives operators an unrestricted view of every nozzle without having to turn around in the seat.
"The unit's ultra smooth ride comes from Millers award-winning HydraLink suspension which ensures all four wheels stay firmly planted on the ground.
"Its near 1.8m ground clearance makes it the ideal machine for late season tall crop spraying, while its tight 4.5m turning radius makes manoeuverability in tight headland situations a breeze."
Mr Staines said no other machine on the market can match the Nitro for versatility.
"At our price, I believe it is a value for money machine that will allow a lucky buyer an upgrade to self propelled spraying at a very reasonable price.
"With its quick attach system, Nitro sprayers can be converted from a sprayer to a nitrogen injection toolbar to a swather".
