LOOKING for an update for next year's seeding program? Then a two-year-old Morris Maxum III air drill advertised in this week's AgTrader classifieds by WD Lewis & Co, Karoonda, is a machine that will appeal to any potential buyer.
Described by dealer principle Roger Size as a top machine in first-class condition, it is for sale as a result of a dissolved partnership.
It is about half the price of a new machine, so Mr Size expects a quick sale.
It is a 72-tye, 18-metre machine on 254-millimetre row-spacings rigged for double-shoot working, and is complete with full width 114mm packer wheels.
It features the Morris Patent frame coupling system that allows individual frame sections to float free of the centre frame.
"This gives the machine total depth across its full working width," Mr Size said.
"Dual castors on the front gauge wheels also help keep the machine working smoothly as they pass over clumps and stones.
"It gives the machine a contour-following ability second-to-one and provides it with its superb precision seed and fertiliser placement ability."
