Stansbury alpacas to $6000

STANSBURY Alpacas' influential ten-year-old sire Windsong Valley Wilde Star topped the stud's reduction sale on the weekend, making $6000.

In the first significant alpaca auction held in South Australia, Steve and Joanne Marshall from Inglewood had a total clearance of their 76 females and six stud males.

The sale topping, solid white male was snapped up by Gary and Sandy Retallick, Softfoot Alpacas and had an outstanding fleece statistics of 19.9 micron, 3.2 SD and 16.1CV on his fourth fleece.
