Roemahkita maintains its usual high ram standard

ROEMAHKITA'S Poll Merino Stud, Cummins, held its 18th on-property auction on Wednesday last week, selling 72 of 80 15-month-old rams to $3500.

Bill Walker, Classings, paid the top price of $3500 for a ram destined for Derella Downs, Esperance, Western Australia.

The ram measured 19.7 micron, 14.7 coefficient of variation, 2.9 standard deviation, 99.6 per cent comfort factor and 18.3 spinning fineness.

Trevor Voight, Yorke Peninsula; Ray Schroeder, Pinnaroo; Peter Carmichael, Yorke Peninsula and Allan and Anne Howell, Kapinnie each took home a ram worth $3400.
