Top sprayer buy from Rocky River Ag Services

6/08/2008 9:11:00 AM
The buy of the week must surely be the purchase of a two year old Case IH Patriot 4670 self propelled sprayer sold by Rocky River AG Services, Crystal Brook to a lucky mid-north farmer for about $270,000.

The sprayer with low hours on the clock was traded in on a new and bigger, more powerful unit.

The sale unit was also fitted with the Case IH exclusive AIM Command electronic sprayer control system

With the cost of chemicals having doubled over the past two years, contractors and farmers are moving to systems which deliver precise and efficient chemical application in a range of field conditions and at speeds of up to 40km per hour.

The AIM Command, which is exclusive to the Case IH range of Patriot sprayers, allows operators to specify droplet size and pressure from the cab, regardless of water rate or ground speed.

But the company has not rested on its laurels and, with the latest upgrades to the 4420 units, has not only maintained its technological advantage position, but has steadily increased its market share.

Rocky River Ag Services is the designated and authorised distributor of Patriot sprayers in SA.
