Candidates roll out for Chaffey

RIVER Murray Minister Karlene Maywald's Riverland-based seat of Chaffey is quickly becoming a political cauldron, as a water backlash boils over.

With local communities reeling from Murray water allocation restrictions, Chaffey - until recently regarded as a Maywald stronghold - has become vulnerable, as potential Liberal candidates jockey for preselection for the 2010 State Election.
