Former jackeroo takes the reins

ANZ has appointed Stephen Radeski as agribusiness manager for South Australia, Northern Territory and Western Australia.

A former jackeroo in the Northern Territory, he has more than 20 years experience in agribusiness - including the past four as national agribusiness segment manager.

Managing director of regional, rural and small business banking Rob Goudswaard said Stephen's appointment reflected ANZ's ongoing commitment to growing the agribusiness sector and to regional and rural Australia.

"It's important to ensure that we use our expertise and industry specialisation to provide consistent, long-term support to our customers," he said.

Mr Radeski, a qualified pilot, previously worked as a state agribusiness manager in Queensland and ran his own cropping and livestock operation on the Darling Downs.

"Stephen brings with him a wealth of industry experience and will provide additional focus for our expanding agribusiness portfolio in the Northern Territory, South Australia and Western Australia," he said.

"He will work closely with customers to help them manage the cyclical nature of cashflow and production to ensure they are best placed to take advantage of opportunities as they arise."

Mr Radeski, who holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Economics, is based in Adelaide.
