More good rain has been received across the southern half of Queensland and northern NSW.
The system, which had earlier delivered more than 50mm to parts of Queensland's west, yesterday dumped close to 100mm in parts of the South East corner.
The extensive band of cloud moved into northern NSW yesterday morning, bringing good falls to the Far North Coast and the Central and Northern Slopes and Plains.
According to The Weather Company, the thick cloud over northern NSW is in a moist easterly airstream, which is generating the widespread rain.
But it says cloud along the southern and central coast and ranges of NSW is causing only light showers.
